Method #2- Update available drivers

If you have incompatible drivers than it also might cause this blue screen of death error. So what you should do next is check if you have all the compatible drivers for your devices and update those that don’t. If you don’t have time or knowledge of these computer skills than you should look for a program which can help you and check and update these drivers automatically.

For this Windows possess something known as Driver Verifier Manager. It is quite a useful tool to identify problematic drivers. To open it search verifier in start menu and press enter. The Device Veifier Manager tests each driver right at the start up and if it identifies any problem, it stops it from running.

To use the Driver Verifier Manager, first select Create Standard Settings and then Click Next followed by Automatically select unsigned drivers then Next. You will see a dialog box named ‘Loading driver information’ at which you will see a list of unsigned drivers.

There are other options as well to select at every step. Choose that you think would prove to be most appropriate in your case. I have only stated unsigned drivers as they are usually suspect most of the time. This way Standard Settings will be created. This helps you in identifying which one is a buggy driver.

In the last stage of the wizard, you will have two options either to click Cancel or to click Finish. It’s recommended to click Cancel. This way no changes are made to your system’s configuration. From the list which is presented and you can manually try to Roll back, Update, Disable or Uninstall the Driver.

But if you click Finish, then on restarting the PC, you may be presented with an error. This will include the name of the buggy driver followed by the code of error after which you should note down the drivers name and the error code.

Method #3- Run Memory Diagnostic Tool

If this problem still persists then the cause of this issue could be you RAM. To check the status of your RAM hold your windows key and press ‘r’ to open the run dialogue box. Type mdsched.exe in the run box and hit enter. A dialogue box will appear and you will be presented with two options that is either Restart now and check for problems(recommended) or Check for problems the next time I start my computer select this if you happen to be busy. Then you will see this image and the errors will be checked.
